Farmer found a bag full of lakhs of rupees
Bhatapara : The farmer resident of Matiya, setting an example of honesty, handed over Rs 13 lakh 30 thousand that fell from the bag of the businessman near Khokhli to the police. The police honored the honest farmer while the businessman rewarded him with cash. Actually, Chandrabhan Gangwani, a mill businessman from Bhatapara, was going to his mill at Khokhli with Rs 13 lakh 30 thousand in his bag. Meanwhile the bag fell somewhere.
When the information was given to the rural police, they took the help of the city surveillance camera and the old man seen in it was identified as Runu Sahu, a farmer resident of Matia, on reaching whose house he handed over a bag full of money to the police. Bhatapara Rural Police honored him with flower garlands in the police station for setting an example of honesty and the mill businessman presented a reward of Rs 11,000 as a reward for returning such a huge amount without any greed.
