Farmers of the state got a big gift on Good Governance Day
Raipur. Chhattisgarh government has fulfilled the third promise of Modi’s guarantee on the occasion of Good Governance Day. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today transferred an amount of Rs 3716 crore to the bank accounts of more than 12 lakh farmers of the state as two-year paddy outstanding bonus in the state level program organized at village Bendri in Abhanpur. He said in the program that he will buy paddy from farmers at the rate of 21 quintals per acre. If necessary, the period for purchasing paddy at the support price will also be extended.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that under Modi’s guarantee, we had promised to pay the outstanding bonus of two years and it has been completed today on Atal ji’s birth anniversary, Good Governance Day. Our words and actions are the same. Not only the state, the entire country has trusted Modi’s guarantee. He said that today is a very historic day. Today the bonus amount has reached the bank accounts of the farmers. Many farmers have received an amount of more than two lakhs. There is great happiness among the farmers. Whatever promises we have made to the people of the state, all those promises will be fulfilled.
The Chief Minister said that the very next day after taking the oath, in the cabinet meeting, we approved the construction of 18 lakh houses for the poor. This will provide housing to those people who were deprived of housing in the last five years. In the last five years, some people had started the work of the house after getting one installment of PM Awas, then when the second and third installments were not received, many remained homeless, some got the house built by taking a loan. We are concerned about such homeless people and decided to provide them accommodation.
The Chief Minister said that whatever promise we have made under Modi’s guarantee. All promises will be fulfilled within five years. We have promised that we will give one thousand rupees every month in the accounts of married women under Mahtari Vandan Yojana. For this also we have made provision in the supplementary budget. Under the Ujjwala scheme, we will also work on providing cylinders for Rs 500 to gas card holding families. Will work to provide ten thousand rupees a year to landless agricultural laborers. One lakh vacant posts of various departments will be filled with complete transparency.
The Chief Minister said that we call tendu leaves as green gold. Our government will pay remuneration to tea leaf collectors at the rate of Rs 5500 per standard bag. Along with this, other beneficial schemes including Charan Paduka for collectors will be continued. I am happy to tell you that now you will be able to get treatment facility up to Rs 10 lakh instead of Rs 5 lakh in Ayushman Card. Now there will be no need to take loan or sell the farm for the treatment of the disease. We will buy paddy from farmers at the rate of 21 quintals per acre and Rs 3100 per quintal. If necessary, we will also extend the time for purchasing paddy. On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma also addressed the public. Remembering Atal ji on the occasion of Good Governance Day, he said that as soon as Atal ji became the Prime Minister, roads reached even the villages. Farmers started getting credit cards. Today, on the occasion of Good Governance Day itself, we decided to give the outstanding bonus of two years of paddy as per the guarantee of Modi ji.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister directly discussed with the farmers of different districts of the state through video conferencing. He asked whether the bonus money just deposited in your account has reached your account or not. Mr. Rampal, a farmer from Mahasamund district, said that he got a bonus of Rs 23 thousand 280. Bishesar Ram Sahu, a farmer of Tamora village of Balod district, told that he got paddy bonus of Rs 89 thousand 640. On this occasion, the Chief Minister distributed checks and certificates to the beneficiaries of Lakhpati Didi Scheme. Besides, agricultural ATMs were also distributed to the farmers. The Chief Minister visited various stalls and also discussed with the beneficiaries of various schemes in these stalls. Abhanpur MLA Inder Kumar Sahu also addressed the program. On this occasion, Arang MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb, former minister Shri Chandrashekhar Sahu and other dignitaries were present.
