Farmer’s painful death due to electric shock
Balod. A farmer died in Balod, Chhattisgarh. It is being told that water has been released from Tandula reservoir for disposal. Meanwhile, farmer Hemlal Sahu, who was irrigating his crops by installing a pump, got electrocuted, due to which he lost his life. The whole matter is of Belodi of Sanaud police station area. As soon as information about the matter was received, Sanaud police reached the spot. From where the body has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. It is being told that no injury marks were found during the Panchnama of the body.
According to the police, black marks have been found on the farmer’s fingers, due to which it is suspected that the farmer died due to electrocution. According to the information, during the irrigation of the crop, garbage had got into the motor pump, for which he went inside the canal to clean it. While cleaning the motor pump he got electrocuted. In this matter, JE Chandrakumar Baghel of the Electricity Department said that the farmer here has not taken a temporary connection. Motor pump and wires were found near the dead body on the canal. The incident will be investigated. Motor pump and cable were seized on the spot. The irrigation department in Balod is also not monitoring the canal. Water is being drawn from the canals by indiscriminately installing motor pumps.
