Farmers saw demonstration of urea spraying by drone in Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra
Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Under the “Developed India Sankalp Yatra” in the district, drones were demonstrated under new advanced agricultural technology in village Lendra Chhote and Gatadih of development block Sarangarh, in which farmer Shivcharan Chakraborty of village Lendra applied nano urea in 1 acre groundnut crop through drone. Was sprayed. Subsequently, nano urea was sprayed by drone in one acre wheat crop of farmer Dhaniram Sahu of village Gatadih. In this program, Divisional Joint Director Agriculture, Division Bilaspur, M.K. Chauhan was present.
Agriculture officials gave detailed information to the farmers regarding drone technology and nano urea and agricultural discussions were held with the farmers. Farmers were asked to give information about this technology to their fellow farmers so that everyone can increase the production of produce through improved agriculture by using this technology. Farmers described spraying of fertilizers, pesticides and insecticides through drone technology as very useful. On this occasion, District Deputy Director Agriculture Ashutosh Srivastava, Assistant Director Agriculture S.L. Bhagat, A.K. Banafar, Senior Agricultural Development Officer S. Ekka, Manhar, J.P. Gupta, Preeti Chandra and Kamlesh Kumar Patwa were present.
