Farmers were afraid of going to the fields, leopard camped there

Rajnandgaon: Leopard has again been seen in the forest adjacent to Maa Bhavani temple located between Dongargarh and Khairagarh in the district. Due to this there is panic among the people. On Friday, a leopard was seen climbing a tree, the video of which was made by people. According to the information, a leopard was sitting on a tall tree in a farmer’s field in village Banbod adjacent to the Bhavani temple area. He was climbing from this branch to that branch on the tree. Suddenly the farmer’s eyes fell on the leopard and he got scared. He informed the people nearby, after which other people also reached there.

Some villagers also made a video of the leopard. The villagers have also informed the forest department about the matter. People say that till now the leopard has not harmed anyone, but they suspect that he is with his family, which also includes a female leopard and her two cubs. People say that they had earlier also informed the Forest Department on seeing the leopard, but the officials shrugged it off and said that there was no wild animal present here.
