Ghaziabad: A female doctor living in Kavinagar police station area of Ghaziabad, adjacent to Delhi, has filed a police case against her doctor husband, calling him impotent. Along with this, the female doctor has also accused her in-laws of dowry harassment, assault and defamation. Police say that a case has been registered against the victim’s husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law and sister-in-law and the matter is being investigated.
The doctor living in Rajnagar says that she has been divorced from her first husband. After this, her second marriage took place in July 2021 with a doctor resident of Noida. Her second husband had also been divorced from his first wife, but her in-laws had hidden this fact from her. Apart from this, after the marriage, the in-laws started demanding dowry.
At the same time, her family did not want to spend much money as it was her second marriage, but due to pressure from her in-laws, they had to spend Rs 64 lakh on the marriage. As soon as she reached her in-laws’ house after marriage, her mother-in-law kept all her jewelery with herself.
The victim woman alleges that after marriage, she came to know that her husband was impotent and due to this defect, she got divorced from her first wife. The woman alleges that after marriage the husband did not have physical relations with her and the husband runs away from her in the bedroom. Whenever she went close, he would beat her. When she told her mother-in-law about this, she threatened not to tell this to anyone.
At the same time, an elderly couple living in Indirapuram police station area has lodged a report against their daughter-in-law and her maternal family for assault, abusing and threatening to kill. The 71-year-old woman told that the daughter-in-law calls people from her maternal house and abuses her and her husband, who has retired from the post of Assistant Professor. Sometimes she even throws garbage on them and sometimes pours water on them. Threatens to kill if you protest. He was beaten several times and even pushed once.
