‘Festival of Democracy’ organized in Nalanda University, former President will participate

Bihar Sharif: On the occasion of International Democracy Day, Festival of Democracy is being organized in Nalanda University on Friday. On this occasion, former President Ramnath Kovind, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Meenakshi Lekhi and ambassadors of many countries will also participate. Ramnath Kovind and the Chief Minister of Assam have reached here to participate in this program. The Festival of Democracy, organized by the Indian Council of Cultural Research at Nalanda University, follows the ‘Mother of Democracy’ exhibition put up by the Union Ministry of Culture at the Bharat Mandapam during the G20 summit. It has been told that through this two-day program, the emergence of democracy in India and its working style will be explained in detail. A book is also to be released in this program. A seminar will also be organized on the topic Mother of Democracy. Regarding this, tight security arrangements have been made in the Nalanda University campus.
