Fierce collision between truck and trolley, 2 youths died

Rohtak. Two people died while 2 others were injured in a collision between a trolley and a truck in Rohtak on Monday. This accident happened near Kherdi turn on National Highway-152D. Among those who died, one was from Rajasthan and the other from Rohtak. As soon as the incident was known, the police reached the spot. Among the dead, one is a truck driver from Tonk, Rajasthan and the other is from Rohtak. At the same time, 2 people were injured. The deceased were identified as Lokesh and Narendra. Lokesh was a resident of Tonk district of Rajasthan and used to drive a truck. Narendra was a resident of Basana village of Rohtak and he had come to the highway to give food to his brother Vikas, who drives a trolley. Vikas left for Ambala from Narnaul on Monday morning with a trolley.

On the way, he called his brother Narendra and asked him to deliver his food near Kherdi Mod. On reaching Kherdi turn, Vikas parked his trolley on the side of the road. There, when Narendra started serving food to his brother, a truck coming from behind at high speed hit the trolley. The accident was so severe that the truck was blown to pieces and the trolley was also badly damaged. Hearing the sound of the accident, people nearby rushed to help. However, by then truck drivers Lokesh (23) and Narendra had died. Vikas and another youth sitting on the driving seat of the trolley were injured. Kalanaur police station incharge Deshraj, who reached the spot after the accident, said that the body of Lokesh, who was driving the truck, got stuck inside the truck during the accident. The police had to make a lot of efforts to free him. The police have admitted both the injured to the hospital. Further action is being taken on the basis of the statement.
