Fight over mobile, husband kills wife
Manendragarh: In Chanwaridand Baigapara area, the husband killed his wife by hitting her with a stick. It is being told that there was a dispute between the two over money and mobile. During this, the husband killed his wife. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the Manendragarh Kotwali police reached the spot. The body has been sent for post-mortem and the case is being investigated.
Life imprisonment to 3 accused of murder
The Bastar District and Sessions Court has sentenced 3 accused who killed a youth in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh to life imprisonment. It is being told that they created a ruckus in the Panchayat sitting between two villages over a press conference. While supporting the boy’s side, they killed a youth of the other side by beating him with sticks. After which the police arrested them. The case is of Kodenar police station area.
Actually, in the year 2021, a girl from Kodenar area left her house and came to her lover’s house in another village, Goriyapal. After which this matter had escalated. The dispute between the two families as well as the two villages started increasing. In order to somehow calm the matter, a panchayat of both the villages was held at the social level in March 2021 with the consent of both the villages. People from both sides had reached this panchayat.
