Film Director C Sunder Enters Politics in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu’s famous film director C Sunder is entering direct politics for the first time. He will contest from Madhurai Central constituency in the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections. Polling for the assembly elections will be held in a single phase across the state of Tamil Nadu on April 23.
Director Sundar is contesting the elections as a candidate from the AIADMK alliance’s Putiya Neeti Katchi party. This was announced by PNK party founder president AC Shanmugam. He said that Sundar will contest under the AIADMK’s two-leaf symbol. Meanwhile, his wife and senior BJP leader Khushboo Sundar has reacted to Sundar’s entry into direct politics.
Kushboo said that Sundar aims to become a man of the people. He said that Sundar hopes to serve the Tamil people who have supported his films for three decades. Meanwhile, the main contest in the Tamil Nadu assembly elections will be between the ruling DMK and the opposition AIADMK alliance.
