FIR registered in Bhilai against Raipur businessman
Bhilai. A case of fraud of Rs 38 lakh has come to light with a factory operator operating in Jarwai of Old Bhilai police station area. The fraud has been done by a big businessman of Raipur. A case has been registered against the businessman in Old Bhilai police station. According to the information, a factory named Vashishtha Ventures LLP is operating in Jarwai village. Its director is Pankaj Sharma. Pankaj had a deal with businessman Gaurav Kumar, resident of Raipur Saddu. Gaurav has a firm named Solitaire Steel Industries in Raipur.
Panjan Sharma told that he made a deal with Gaurav to supply goods and after that as an advance, he did RTGS of Rs 66,91,901 in the ICICI Bank account of Solitaire Steel Industries in December 2023. After sending the money, Gaurav gave him goods worth Rs 28 lakh 68 thousand 831 and did not send the remaining goods worth Rs 38 lakh 23 thousand 69.
Pankaj Sharma told the police that he asked Gaurav to return his remaining 38 lakh rupees when the goods were not sent. On this Gaurav said that he is out. He will supply the goods after coming back. Even after this, when the goods were not sent, Pankaj Sharma reached the address given by Gaurav Kumar in Raipur. Gaurav got angry at this and threatened to kill him while refusing to return the money. After this he got angry and started threatening him while refusing to return the money.
After Pankaj Sharma’s complaint, Purani Bhilai police station called Gaurav Kumar to give a statement through WhatsApp on 18 November 2024, but he did not come. After this, a notice was pasted at Gaurav Kumar’s house to give a statement on 12 December 2024. Even after this he did not appear at the police station. Pankaj Sharma presented the statement of the bank account and the WhatsApp chat with Gaurav Kumar before the police. The police found in their investigation that Gaurav Kumar took the money by convincing Pankaj Sharma and invested it in his own business. Old Bhilai Police has started action by registering an FIR against Gaurav Kumar.
