Fire ravages Bargarh market complex, goods worth lakhs destroyed

Bargarh: A massive fire broke out in Bargarh town, gutting the market complex in front of the court and destroying goods worth lakhs of rupees. The blaze originated in a spectacle shop and quickly spread to nearby shops.

Fire department personnel rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control, but not before the spectacle shop was completely gutted and an adjacent shop suffered partial damage.

It has been suspected that a short circuit might be the cause of the fire.
