Floods inundate the desert country of Saudi Arabia

Recently, floods have engulfed the desert country. Heavy rain has fallen in Medina, Jeddah, Mecca, and other areas of Saudi Arabia. Torrential rain accompanied by strong gusty winds, thunder, and lightning has fallen. This rain has caused flash floods. This has brought life to a standstill.
The entire city was devastated by the heavy rains that fell in Jeddah. The city was flooded after torrential rains. Roads and low-lying areas were submerged. Public transport came to a standstill as traffic came to a standstill. Saudi media reported that authorities had issued a red alert in the city. Authorities warned people in flood-affected areas to be careful. People were advised not to go out under any circumstances and to stay safe at home.
