For postgraduate teacher positions: Certificate verification has begun.
Tamil Nadu: Certificate verification for postgraduate teaching posts began at four centers in Chennai on Friday.
The selection process to fill 1,996 vacancies for Senior Teachers, Physical Education Directors, and Computer Instructors in government higher secondary schools concluded on October 12, and the results were subsequently published.
In this regard, the Teachers Recruitment Board also released details of the certificate verification list for the selected candidates. The subject board also released the list for certificate verification based on a ratio of 1.25 marks per seat and caste rotation.
Accordingly, certificate verification commenced in Chennai on Friday. This process was conducted at centers established in schools including Ashok Nagar Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Virugambakkam Jayagopal Garodia Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Arumbakkam Government Higher Secondary School, and Egmore State Girls Government Higher Secondary School.
The certificate verification process will continue until December 9 (excluding Sundays).
Following the announcement that selected candidates must appear for certificate verification on the specified dates, failing which they would not be considered for the next round of recruitment, many candidates, along with their families, had already arrived at these schools from outside the state. Some applicants came with their young children and families. They were allowed inside only after verifying their call letters for the certificate verification list.
