Former MLA threatened to shoot, FIR lodged on the allegation
UP. A case has been registered against former Congress MLA Nadeem Javed and his associates in Jaunpur. A person has alleged that some people threatened him, beat him up and snatched his phone at the behest of Javed. The case has been registered on the orders of the Superintendent of Police after Javed’s associate Khurshid Anwar filed a complaint.
City Kotwali police station in-charge Mithilesh Mishra told a news agency that Khurshid Anwar has alleged in his complaint that on the night of September 12, at around 8 pm, he had gone to meet someone near Shakar Mandi with his friend. Meanwhile, five people on two motorcycles surrounded him.
After this, they started abusing and beating him. Khurshid claimed that Deepak Jaiswal was also among those who attacked him. The complaint states that the attackers said that if you speak against Nadeem Javed, you will be shot and snatched my mobile. The SHO said that the attackers also claimed that the former MLA had sent them. Police said that a case has been registered against former MLA Nadeem Javed, Deepak Jaiswal and four unidentified people under relevant sections including robbery. At present, the police is investigating the matter. Strict action will be taken after the investigation.
