Former sarpanch’s son who raped a girl arrested

Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi. In Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, the son of a former sarpanch has raped a 20-year-old girl. After the complaint of the victim, the police have arrested the rape accused. The entire matter is of Marwahi police station area. According to the victim, when she was a minor, Deepak Karsal (28), son of former sarpanch of Baraur Gram Panchayat, Bahar Singh, used to follow her every day while going to school. Later, after luring her into love trap, he continued to physically exploit her. After this the victim became an adult and got fed up and informed her family.

A case of rape was registered against Deepak Karsal in Marwahi police station, after which Marwahi police arrested the accused Deepak. Marwahi police station in-charge Kamalakant Shukla said that a case was registered against the accused and he was arrested. The accused was interrogated in the case, in which the accused admitted to committing the rape incident. Police said that the accused was produced in the court, from where the court sent the accused to jail. The police is busy investigating the matter.
