Foundation day of 5 states was celebrated with great pomp in Raipur Raj Bhavan

Raipur raipur news. The foundation day of the states of Bihar, Odisha, Gujarat, Telangana and Sikkim was celebrated with great pomp at the Raj Bhavan today. On this occasion, Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan said that the knowledge and understanding of the language, culture, traditions and practices of different states will strengthen the unity and integrity of India. Under the Central Government’s “Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat” program, all the states will celebrate each other’s foundation day to promote the spirit of unity in diversity. In this episode, this program was organized at the Raj Bhavan. In which the people of Gujarati, Bihari, Oriya, Telugu society and Sikkim residing in Chhattisgarh participated enthusiastically. The Governor congratulated everyone on the occasion of Foundation Day. He said that it is a matter of pride that today we have among us the people of the states of Bihar, Odisha, Gujarat, Sikkim and Telangana, who are enriching our lives and contributing to the upliftment and development of Chhattisgarh. The citizens of these states have made a significant contribution in enriching the cultural heritage of the state of Chhattisgarh and advancing its progress. Their presence has not only brought diversity but also infused new ideas and perspectives.

The Governor said that Gujarat is the jewel of Western India. It is the largest hub of trade and commerce. The state has preserved its ancient history, culture and traditions for centuries. From its festivals, attire and language to its celebrations and delicious food, Gujarat wonderfully represents its vibrant culture. Telangana is a confluence of innovation with its diverse history and heritage. The youngest state of India is a blend of two cultures of the South and the North. Sikkim is a symbol of peace and harmony along with its natural beauty and wealth.

The Governor said that all the states are committed to learn from each other and move forward together towards making India more powerful, prosperous and self-reliant. On this occasion, representative of Odia Samaj, MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, representative of Gujarati Samaj Charmi Davda, representative of Bihari Samaj Acharya Remendra Nath Mishra and representative of Telangana Samaj G. Swamy highlighted the activities of their respective societies and the role of the society in the development of Chhattisgarh. Students of various universities gave a colourful presentation of folk dances of these states. In which Dalkhai dance of tribal society of Odisha, Kajari folk dance of Bihar, Garba of Gujarat, Lambadi Pilla of Telangana and folk dance of Sikkim fascinated everyone. chhattisgarh news Governor Harichandan underlined the characteristics of these different states. Sambalpuri cloth and music have become a part of the life of Chhattisgarh and about 30 lakh Odiya people live in Chhattisgarh and are contributing to the development of the state. chhattisgarh
