Fraud of 11 lakhs from the lawyer, the vicious cheated to get the auction house
Bilaspur. A lawyer was cheated of Rs 11 lakh in the name of getting a house auctioned in Tarbahar police station area of the city. In this matter, the police has registered a case and is engaged in the investigation. Advocate Dinesh Kumar Gupta, a resident of FCI Chowk, got acquainted with Ranjan Prasad, a resident of Ramakrishna Nagar, Mopka. He then told Gupta that he knew the employees of HDFC Housing Finance Development Company near Rajkishore Nagar. Here people who are unable to deposit money after taking loan from the bank, such houses are auctioned. Will get a house worth 60 to 70 lakhs in Rama World Colony for Rs 40 lakhs. After this, he showed the documents of the house, the loan amount, the advertisement of the auction issued by the bank to the lawyer, on whose words Gupta gave him a separate check of Rs 11 lakh from his son’s check book. The thug deposited this check in the bank and took the money.
In this case, Tarbahar police station in-charge Manoj Nayak told that Gupta did not get the house in the auction, so he demanded the money back from Ranjan Prasad. On this he started procrastinating to return the money. After this, Dinesh Gupta has lodged its report in the police station. Police has registered a report and is probing the matter.
