Fraud of 61 lakhs from professor

While completing the task for two consecutive months on the Nazara gaming site, the fraudsters deposited about Rs 61 lakh from Satish Kumar Sahu. Even after this, when he did not get the profit, he realized the fraud. Satish Kumar Sahu lodged a case of cyber fraud at Mohan Nagar police station on 16th July. At present, the police is investigating after registering the case.

Satish Kumar Sahu, a resident of Jawahar Nagar Durg, was an associate professor in the Mechanical Department at BIT Engineering College, who was made to sit in the month of April. Being unemployed, Satish Kumar Sahu was constantly searching for a job on the Internet. Meanwhile, on May 8, he received a call from an unknown person. The caller gave information about the Nazara gaming site and promised to earn huge profits by investing money on the basis of the task. Got profit in the beginning as well. Then, while talking about the huge amount, in two months, 61 lakh rupees were gradually deposited in different accounts from Satish Kumar Sahu. Even after this, he neither got the money back nor the profit. On realizing the fraud, Satish Kumar reached the police.

In this case, SP Shalabh Sinha said that Satish Kumar Sahu, a resident of Jawahar Nagar Durg, has filed a complaint. Coming under the guise of online job, he has put about 60 lakh rupees little by little in a fake account. Immediately after registering an FIR in the matter, a special team of cyber cell has been formed, which is going through all their bank details. As soon as it is known where the money was deposited, a team will also be dispatched to arrest it.
