Fraudster arrested for duping a Raipur youth while sitting in Delhi
Raipur: A fraudster who duped a person of lakhs of rupees by promising to open a medical representative franchise has been arrested. According to the police, Rajan Aspiliya lodged a report in the Range Cyber Police Station Raipur that he was searching for work from home on YouTube in October 2023, fraud case, during that time he saw an advertisement regarding medical representative in which it was written that twenty thousand rupees job is free from Pharma Health Academy Head, in which the applicant talked to Shiv Sahu, who is the franchise head, from the given mobile numbers 83195-11400 and 99101-03088, after which he talked to their CEO Suresh Kunti Singh, who told himself to be from Delhi, next to the head office U-197, third floor Shankarpur Satarpur Laxmi Nagar, Delhi and he took the applicant’s biodata and asked him to manage the opening of medical representative franchise.
On which the applicant agreed for Raipur center and asked for payment of Rs. 6,00,000/- for opening a model center and when he talked to their CEO Suresh Kunti, he saw the applicant’s 45 years of experience in the pharma industry in his biodata and considering his experience, he offered him to open a regional office and become the head of the entire Chhattisgarh, not just the Raipur region. On which the applicant deposited a total of Rs. 14,30,000/- in the accounts mentioned by him on different dates and installments to obtain the franchise, that the applicant was given an agreement in e-stamp by giving the franchise. The applicant opened a center in Orange Heights Mowa on 01.11.2023 but not a single admission was done by him nor did he open a sub-center in other districts. The applicant’s office in Mowa Center was opened and ready, in which staff expenses, electricity and other expenses are being borne by him, the franchise fee and center opening and management rent were paid by the applicant. Meanwhile, the applicant kept talking to Shiv Sahu and only got assurances. Similarly, Shiv Sahu and Suresh Kunti Singh cheated the applicant of lakhs of rupees. On which, crime number 02/24 section 420, 34 IPC was registered against the accused in Range Cyber Police Station Raipur. In cyber related crime, the Inspector General of Police, Raipur has directed Cyber Police Station Raipur to trace and arrest the accused. On which, as per the instructions of Senior Superintendent of Police Raipur, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Crime Raipur and Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Raipur, the team of Range Cyber Police Station started to trace the accused.
The team members made detailed inquiries with the applicant regarding the incident and did technical analysis of the mobile numbers from which the applicant talked, as well as obtained documents and information from the concerned banks regarding the accounts in which the money was transferred. After continuous analysis of mobile numbers along with many other mobile numbers and documents related to them, finally one accused was located in Delhi. On which a 5-member joint team of Range Cyber Police Station and Anti Crime and Cyber Unit was sent to Delhi under the leadership of Inspector Mahesh Sahu. After reaching Delhi, the team members continuously camped and investigated the accused and finally arrested Suresh Kunti Singh, the accused involved in the incident, from Delhi. During interrogation, the accused told that he carried out the above incident of fraud along with his other accomplice. The accused was arrested and cash amount of Rs. 25,000/- and 02 mobile phones worth about Rs. 1,00,000/- were seized from his possession and the accused was sent to jail in judicial custody. Apart from the crime of fraud registered against accused Suresh Kunti Singh alias Suresh Kumar Singh in Ranchi (Jharkhand), a complaint has also been lodged in Delhi.
