Friends turned out to be beasts! Gang rape of a girl, know how the brutality was revealed
New Delhi: The matter has come to light in Chembur, Mumbai. Here a sensational incident has come to light in the campus of the country’s prestigious institute Bhabha Atomic Research Centre.
According to the information, a 19 year old girl was tricked into drinking intoxicating cold drink in Bark Quarters in Chembur area of Mumbai. When she became unconscious, she was gang-raped by two friends. After regaining consciousness, the victim realized that she had been raped. She somehow ran away from there and went to her home. Informed father about this incident. After this, on the complaint of the victim’s father, the police registered IPC sections 376 (rape), 376 (D) (gang rape), 328 (attempt to cause hurt to someone by giving poison) and 34 (common intention) against both the accused. A case has been registered under this and he has been arrested.
According to the police, the arrested accused have been identified as Ajit Kumar Yadav (26) and Prabhakar Yadav (30). Of these, Ajit’s father works in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. He has got quarters in the campus itself. As part of a well-planned conspiracy, Ajit called his friend Prabhakar home in the absence of his family members. After that the victim was also called on some pretext. She was having dinner with the victim at night, but went to his house on his invitation. On reaching there both the friends offered him a cold drink. Unaware of the conspiracy of those two criminals, the victim drank the drink, after which she immediately became unconscious.
After the victim became unconscious, both the criminals took turns to gang-rape her. They continued raping her until she regained consciousness. As soon as she regained consciousness, the victim understood what had happened to her. She immediately ran away from there and went to her home. A police officer said that this incident took place on the intervening night of 15 and 16 November. The victim lives with her mother and sister in Bhoisar in Palghar district, but had come to live with her father on the day of the incident. The main accused Ajit had called her to his house on the pretext of bringing her for induction. This incident was carried out. The court has sent both of them to police custody.
