Tamil Nadu: Congress party pays tribute at Rajiv Gandhi memorial

Tamil Nadu: Former Haryana Minister Geeta Booker and Tamil Nadu Congress leader Ms. Selvaperundakkai paid tributes at Rajiv Gandhi’s memorial on Tuesday.
The All India Congress Committee is working to elect new leaders for the Congress Party through the Organisation Creation Campaign scheme. Under this scheme, Congress Party observers appointed to select district Congress leaders in Tamil Nadu are meeting with Congress leaders in each district and seeking their opinion on selecting a new leader.
In this context, former Haryana Minister Geeta Booker, who served as the Chief Observer for the Chengalpattu District Congress President election, along with Tamil Nadu Congress President Ms. Selvaperundakkai, paid tributes to former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi at the memorial. District Congress Incharge S.A. Arulraj, R. Ayyappan, District Minority Wing President Murugan Shanthakumar, and others attended.
