Ganderbal: Gardens of terror accused confiscated in Ganderbal
Srinagar: Police have attached the land of a terror accused in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said today. 10 Marla land, which falls under survey/khasra no. 984 in Revenue Estate Wakura, belongs to Latif Ahmed Kambe, son of G Mohd Kambe, resident of Wakura.
This action was taken in pursuance of the orders passed by the Court of Additional Sessions Judge (Special Judge designated under the NIA Act) Ganderbal under CNR No. JKGB010005642024 dated 29-12-2023 in case FIR No. 110/2022 u/s 353 IPC, 13 Went. , 18, 23, 38, 39 UA(P) Act, 7/25 IA Act, 207 M.V Act police station Ganderbal, the officer said.
He said the move is part of the ongoing efforts to address activities falling under the ambit of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA). “The accused is currently under surveillance and lodged in Central Jail Srinagar. The said property has been attached under Section 33(1) of the UA(P) Act,” the officer said. The attachment law follows the proper legal procedure as outlined in the UA(P) Act.
