Ganesh Kumar’s statement: The family suffered huge losses because of Oommen Chandy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister KB Ganesh Kumar has leveled several allegations against the late Oommen Chandy, former Chief Minister of Kerala. Ganesh Kumar alleged that his family was ruined due to Oommen Chandy’s interference and warned the late leader’s son, Chandy Oommen, not to speak on matters he is unaware of.
Yesterday, while attending a function in Pathanapuram, MLA Chandy Oommen alleged that Ganesh Kumar had committed wrongdoing to implicate Oommen Chandy in the solar scam. “Anyone can investigate the statement I gave to the Central Bureau of Investigation regarding the solar case. Before my father’s death, he told me that Oommen Chandy would never do such a thing. In the statement given to the CBI, I reiterated that I believe Oommen Chandy would never do such a thing. However, it is the same Oommen Chandy who ruined my family. His interference ensured that my children were kept away from me.
Will Oommen Chandy or his son answer for the evil deed that broke my family and separated me from my children? I also have something to say about the hardships I faced. Chandy Oommen should remain silent, otherwise, I will have to speak about more hitherto unknown details,” Ganesh Kumar said. Chandy Oommen made this allegation while inaugurating a reception given to the UDF members of the Pathanapuram Panchayat and Block Panchayat at Mankode Junction. Chandy alleged that it was Ganesh Kumar who cleverly orchestrated a move that led to Oommen Chandy’s name being included in the controversial 18-page letter related to the solar scam.
