Ganeshji’s idol prepared from iron parts
Raipur: Like every year, this time too the preparations for Ganesh Puja are in full swing. This time something unique is going to happen on Ganeshotsav in the Railway Wagon Repair Workshop Colony of Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. Here, an iron Ganeshji’s artwork is being prepared from 11 thousand locking plates, nut bolts, vise and various scrap materials of the railway. Artist Ashok Devangan is engaged with his team in its construction.
This structure is being made in the wagon repair shop, whose height will be 12 feet, width 8 feet and weight will be about 1000 kg. According to the information, it is being prepared with the help of ACT Apprentice trainees in a short period of one month. This artwork will be permanently displayed here. Ashok Devangan is the magician of scrap Ashok Devangan, who is called the magician of scrap, has already created huge artworks at many places from iron scrap.
His artworks have been installed at India Gate, Gateway of India, Taj Mahal, Qutub Minar, Buddha and more than 500 Bastar arts in various railway factories of the country.
