Ganga Aarti organized to save the village from Ganga erosion at Manihari Baghmara in Katihar

In such a situation, to pacify the anger of Ganga, people went to the shelter of Mother Ganga and organized Maha Aarti. This nine-day yagya was organized with great pomp. At the same time, Chairman of Anusuvi Tribal Commission Shambhu Kumar Shuman and Manihari SDM Kumar Siddharth attended the event as chief guests. Where both jointly inaugurated the Ganga Maha Aarti by cutting the ribbon.

Along with this, the women of the village were also seen carrying the aarti plate and performing the aarti of Maa Ganga. During this, everyone requested Mother Ganga to save them from displacement. Chairman of the Scheduled Tribes Commission, Shambhu Kumar Suman said that the Bihar government has given a plan of 47 crores for anti-erosion work in Baghmara regarding Ganga erosion and almost the work has been completed, but the faith of the villagers is connected to Mother Ganga. And with whom they are worshiping. Ganga Mahaarti has also been organized here by the villagers and I am fortunate that I have been invited to my birthplace.
