Ganja smuggler arrested in Abhanpur-Rajim road
Raipur: Ganja smuggler has been arrested on Abhanpur-Rajim road. According to the information, the team of Narcotics Cell formed under Anti Crime and Cyber Unit received information that a person has kept ganja in a bag near Kathiya Mod, Abhanpur Rajim Marg Nayakbandha under Abhanpur police station area and is planning to go somewhere. On which Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Neeraj Chandrakar, Additional Superintendent of Police Crime Pitambar Patel, Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Dinesh Sinha and City Superintendent of Police Nava Raipur Jitendra Chandrakar confirmed the information to Anti Crime and Cyber Unit in-charge and Abhanpur police station in-charge and traced the person. The tax was directed to catch the person red handed with ganja.
On which, under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Dinesh Sinha, a joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Abhanpur police station went to the said place, traced the person, identified him and caught him. During interrogation, the person revealed his name to be Kundan Kuldeep, resident of Mahasamund. When the team members searched the bag of Kundan Kuldeep, it was found that ganja was kept in the bag. On which the accused Kundan Kuldeep was arrested and a total of 10 kg 200 grams of ganja worth approximately Rs 1,05,000/- was seized from his possession and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 466/23 under Section 20B Narcotic Act in the police station Abhanpur. During interrogation, the accused are said to have brought the ganja from Orissa.
