Ganja smugglers caught at check post, were bringing goods from Odisha

. Police is continuously taking action against drug business in Chhattisgarh. Meanwhile, police has taken action against drugs in Gariaband district. Devbhog police has arrested two interstate smugglers bringing ganja from Odisha. Police has seized about 15 kg of ganja from the smugglers. The accused have been caught by the police near the check post on the border.

The minister in charge had said in the review meeting that illegal sale of drugs is going on. After this, Devbhog police took action within a few hours and caught both the smugglers. Last night at around 7 o’clock, the police launched this campaign to catch the smugglers near Khutgaon check post. Chhattisgarh

Police station in-charge Gautam Gawade said that he had received information from the informer that the accused were bringing ganja from Odisha. On the basis of information, immediate action was taken and smugglers Toshin Khan (22 years) and Ajbur Khan (25 years) were arrested.
