Ganja worth Rs 4 lakh seized from trolley bags, three smugglers caught again in Raipur
Raipur. Three interstate ganja smugglers have been arrested with 39 kg ganja. Police station Ganj received information that some persons have ganja with them near railway station gate number 02 under police station Ganj area and are looking for customers to sell it. On which Additional Superintendent of Police City Lakhan Patle and City Superintendent of Police Kotwali Yogesh Sahu verified the information and directed Police Station Incharge Ganj Inspector Deepak Paswan to catch the accused red handed with ganja.
On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Ganj, the team of police station Ganj went to the said place and identified and arrested three persons of the same description as described by the informer. During interrogation, the persons revealed their names to be Vishnu Tomar, Abhimanyu Behera and Arun Mishra. When the team members searched the trolley bag kept with them, it was found that ganja was kept in the bag. On which the team members arrested the three accused and seized 39 kg 500 grams of Ganja Jumla worth approximately Rs 3,95,000/- from their possession and registered the crime number 189/2024 Section 20B Narcotics Act against the accused in Police Station Ganj. has been done
