‘Ganpat’ first day earnings

Mumbai: Fans were eagerly waiting for Tiger Shroff and Kriti Senon starrer ‘Ganapat’. The film has finally reached theaters recently. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the dystopian futuristic action film also stars megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Fans have been bravely waiting for the action-packed film ‘Ganapat’ since the release of the trailer. It was said that Tiger’s film would be a box office hit. The preliminary figures for the first day of release of ‘Ganpat’ have come in. ‘Ganpat’ has collected just Rs 2.50 crore on the first day of its release.

The first day earnings of ‘Ganpat’ have shocked everyone. The film is the lowest opening of Tiger’s career so far. Earlier, all the actor’s films had good opening day collections. The actor’s last release ‘Heropanti 2’ had an opening day gross of Rs 6.50 crore. ‘Baagi 3’ opened with Rs 17 crore. While the actor’s blockbuster film ‘War’ earned Rs 53.35 crore on the first day.Even ‘Student of the Year 2’ had earned Rs 12.06 crore. Many of the actor’s other films have also had higher opening day collections than ‘Ganpat’. Everyone’s eyes are now on the weekend. It remains to be seen how much the film can collect on Ram Navami and Dussehra holidays besides Saturday and Sunday holidays.
