Gazetted Declaration Is Okay Instead Of Caste Verification In Nomination Filing

Nalgonda District Collector Tripathi has instructed the officials that if any candidate submits a gazetted declaration along with the nomination papers in the local body elections, they should be accepted. Such candidates should be informed to submit the caste certificate till the time of scrutiny of nominations. On Monday, as part of the second phase of nominations, she inspected the nomination center set up in Peddavura Gram Panchayat. The facilities at the nomination center were inspected. It was ordered that only those who reach the nomination center before 5 pm should be allowed to file nominations, and those who arrive after 5 pm should not be allowed to file nominations under any circumstances.
Along with bank accounts and other certification documents, awareness should be created to fill all the blanks in the nomination form completely. Those at the help desk suggested that the RO should inform them of all this. They said that the details of the nominations should be sent without delay, there should be no delay in uploading them in the T-Poll and sending them to the district headquarters. She was accompanied by Miryalaguda Sub-Collector Narayan Amit, MPDO Umadevi, Tahsildar Sridevi, MEO Ramu, RIs Srinivasa Reddy and Ramakrishna.
