DMK’s election manifesto to be released today

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will release the DMK’s election manifesto for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections today.
With the announcement of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections on April 23rd, parties are fully engaged in electioneering. As they release their candidate lists, they are also focusing on campaigning for the next phase.
Meanwhile, party leader and Chief Minister Stalin, who announced the 164 candidates contesting on behalf of the DMK on Saturday (March 28th), will also release the manifesto today.
A four-way contest is already underway in Tamil Nadu, with the AIADMK, Naam Tamilar Katchi, and Thaveka all releasing their election manifestos. Consequently, the DMK’s election manifesto will be released today. Anticipation has risen in the electoral arena as to whether the DMK’s manifesto will be sufficient to counter the manifestos of other opposition parties.
