Girl hanged herself in bedroom with dupatta around her neck, suicide creates sensation

Jagdalpur: A 17-year-old minor girl committed suicide by hanging herself in Jagdalpur. The reason for the suicide is not known. Her body was found in the bedroom. The body has been sent to the hospital for postmortem. The case is from Bodhghat police station area. According to the information, the case is from Baliram Kashyap ward of Jagdalpur Municipal Corporation area. A 17-year-old minor girl from this area celebrated Rakshabandhan with her family. She celebrated the festival happily throughout the day, but in the evening she became very sad. The family members also asked her, but she did not tell anything.

At night, she made a noose from her dupatta in her bedroom. She tied the noose to the fan and hanged herself. After some time, the family members reached the spot. They took the body down from the noose, then informed the police about it. The jawans of Bodhghat police station reached the spot and took the body in their custody.

Bodhghat police station in-charge Liladhar Rathore said that the reason behind the girl’s suicide is not known yet. Police is investigating the matter. The reason behind the suicide will be known only after the investigation.
