Girl sexually assaulted in LNJP hospital
New Delhi (IANS). A 19-year-old girl has been sexually assaulted at LNJP Hospital in the country’s capital Delhi. The police informed about the incident on Friday.
A Delhi Police official said that they have nabbed the accused, who has been identified as Baldev, a resident of Shahdara. The victim was in the hospital taking care of her sister-in-law.
According to the police, “The victim went to the ground floor at around 2 am on Thursday. While returning, a person stopped her and tried to get close to her.
A case has been registered at IP Estate police station under Indian Penal Code sections 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 354A (sexual harassment).
The police officer said that the accused was the attendant of his elderly mother, who was admitted in the same block due to cardiac ailments. He works as a private security guard.
