Goa News: Ponda woman cheated of Rs 1 lakh in online fraud

Ponda: In a case of online fraud, a fraudster posing as Naveen Kumar posed as a headmaster and businessman and duped a woman of Rs 1 lakh in Ponda by promising to supply cement blocks.

Police have registered a crime against this unknown person.

Women who fell prey to his false claims paid him online by transferring an amount of Rs 98,999.

The fraudster managed to win the trust of the woman by posing as a supplier of cement blocks and asked her to pay the amount, which he did. When he did not get the cement blocks he finally lodged a complaint.
