However, gold opened with a slight rise at Rs 58,995 per 10 grams in the initial phase. After this it declined and by 12 noon it came down to Rs 58,863 per 10 grams with a reduction of 0.11 percent i.e. Rs 67 per 10 grams. Whereas yesterday gold had closed at Rs 58930.

After this, some decline has been seen in the price of silver and till 12 o’clock it was trading at the level of Rs 71,776 per kg with a reduction of 0.23 percent i.e. Rs 166.
