Goods train catches fire in Dhenkanal of Odisha, details here
Dhenkanal: In a shocking incident, a train caught fire in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on Thursday, reliable reports said. It is noteworthy that the incident of train fire in Dhenkanal took place near Joranda station of Gobindpur village in Dhenkanal district of Odisha.
However, let us tell you here that the cause of the fire has not been known yet. Train services on the Dhenkanal-Angul route have been disrupted due to the fire. Recently, a goods train carrying coal allegedly caught fire at Soro station in Balasore district on Saturday, February 3, 2024, reliable reports in this regard said.
According to reports, three wagons of a goods train laden with coal are reported to have caught fire. Some spectators saw the fire and informed the fire department about the incident.
The cause of the fire has not been known yet. Soro fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control. The train was going from Bhadrak to Kharagpur.
Earlier, on January 26, 2024, two bogies filled with coal of a train going from Bhadrak, Odisha to Kharagpur caught fire. The incident occurred when the train was near Soro in Balasore district of Odisha.
According to the information, when the train was near Soro, the front and rear bogies of the train caught fire. The goods train was going from Bhadrak to Kharagpur in West Bengal.
On receiving the information, fire brigade personnel from Soro reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Later the train was parked at platform number one of Soro railway station in Balasore district.
