Goods train derailed, 3 wagons derailed
Jagdalpur: A goods train derailed on Kirandul-Kottavalasa railway line late on Thursday night. It is being told that about 2 to 3 wagons of the goods train derailed. It has come to light that the accident occurred due to technical glitches. After this accident, Kirandul-Kottavalasa i.e. KK railway route was disrupted. The Night Express train coming from Visakhapatnam towards Jagdalpur also remained stuck throughout the night. At present the route has been restored. Movement of trains has started.
In fact, on Thursday night, an empty goods train coming from Visakhapatnam to Kirandul derailed near Gorapur railway station in Araku section of Odisha. As soon as information about this accident was received, the Railways had stopped all the goods trains and passenger trains on this route. Railway employees reached the spot in the night itself. The route has been restored after several hours of hard work. At present, the clear cause of the accident is not yet known. Initially it is said to be a technical fault.
