Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh in police custody

Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh, who was moving from Hyderabad to Banswada in Kamareddy district, was stopped by the police on National Highway 161. Medak DSP Prasanna Kumar along with the police preemptively detained MLA Raja Singh at the Kings 9 restaurant in Pedda Shankarampet mandal and took him to the Pedda Shankarampet police station.

Raja Singh was on his way to a protest event in Banswada when he was arrested by the police in Pedda Shankarampet and taken to the police station. Alladurgam CI Renuka Reddy, Pedda Shankarampet, Alladurgam, and Regodu SIs Praveen Reddy, Shankar, and Pochayya were present.

Bajrang Dal leaders, who protested against the arrest of MLA Rajasingh, broke the windows of an RTC bus. This led to tense conditions in Pedda Shankarampet.
