Legislative Assembly Approves Two Bills by Minister Seethakka

The Legislative Assembly on Saturday approved two bills introduced by Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Seethakka. It is known that earlier, there was a rule that a family should not have more than two children to contest in Panchayat and Parishad elections, but recently the government issued an ordinance before the Panchayat elections, lifting it.

The law was amended on Saturday. With this, even if there is more than two children, they will no longer be eligible to contest in Panchayat, Mandal and Zilla Parishad elections, the minister said on this occasion. Meanwhile, the House passed a bill to change the name of Jain Tirumalapur village in Gopalpet Mandal of Wanaparthy district to Jayanna Tirumalapur.
