Govind Pandey’s entry in ‘Kavya’, will be seen in a negative role.
Mumbai: Actor Govind Pandey, who has joined the cast of ‘Kavya-Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon’, talked openly about his character and called it an exciting journey for him.
‘Kavya- Ek Jazba, Ek Junoon’ has already made its place in the hearts of the audience. The story is based on the life of Kavya (Sumbul Tauqeer Khan), an IAS officer whose aim is to serve the country and do the right thing for the common man.
Govind Pandey has joined the cast of the show, who will play the character of Giriraj Pradhan, father of Adiraj Pradhan (Mishkat Verma).
‘Giriraj’ portrayed by Govind is the Sarpanch. He is climbing the political ladder with his shrewdness and calculated approach.
Regarding his character, Govind said, stepping into the world of ‘Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon’ is an exciting journey for me.
Giriraj is a man with a cunning mind, who cannot see himself losing, especially to a woman. His confrontation with Kavya is one of the many conflicts he will have to face soon.”
He added, “Playing this cocky, yet successful character really excites me and I can’t wait for the next chapter to unfold in the show.”
Famous for his work in ‘PK’, ‘Hindi Medium’ etc., Govind is known for his extraordinary talent and ability to portray a variety of characters on screen.
