Grandfather gets permission from High Court to meet grandson, know the whole matter
Bilaspur: Chhattisgarh High Court has canceled the said order of the Family Court, in which the grandfather of the children of separated parents was refused permission to meet them. Apart from this, the High Court also rejected this order in which the father was allowed to meet the child only in the court premises.
A case is going on in the family court between a couple from Rajnandgaon district regarding the custody of their children after separation. The children are currently with their mother. The children’s father and their grandfather had applied to the said court to meet them. The court allowed the father to meet the children in the court premises but rejected the grandfather’s application.
The children’s father and grandfather appealed against this order in the High Court. It was heard in the division bench of Justice Gautam Bhaduri and Justice Deepak Kumar Tiwari. The bench removed the condition of allowing the father to meet only the court premises and said that the environment of the court is not conducive for children. Apart from this, while allowing the grandfather to meet, the court said that the grandfather of the petitioner children is 80 years old. Her role in the upbringing of children is important. Children cannot be deprived of contact with them.
