New Delhi: Growth of eight core infrastructure sectors slowed to 3.8 per cent in December 2023 from 8.3 per cent in the year-ago period, according to official data released on Wednesday.
In November, the growth of core sectors (coal, crude oil, natural gas, refinery products, fertilizers, steel, cement and electricity) was 7.9 percent.
In December 2022 it was 8.3 percent. The growth of eight sectors remained stable at 8.1 percent on an annual basis in April-December 2023-24.
