Guinness World Record for fastest smash by Satwik Chanchlan at Korea Open

Satwiksairaj. Indian doubles star Satwiksairaj rocked the Korea Open. He registered his name in the Guinness World Record with the fastest smash (fastest badminton shot). Satvik blasted at a speed of 565 kilometers per hour. Along with this, he was recognized as the player who hit the cock hard in men’s badminton. The representatives of Guinness Records, who calculated the speed of the smash, wrote Satwik’s name in their book. Indian star’s shock broke the record of ten years. Malaysian player Tan Boon Heong played a smash in 2013 at a speed of 493 kmph. In this match, the pair of Satwik and Chirag won 21-16, 21-14 against Supak Jomkoh and Kitinupang Kedren. The Indian pair, who dominated throughout, wrapped up the match inside 32 minutes. With this win, the pair of Satwik-Chirag entered the pre-quarters. They have been doing amazingly well this season.
