Gujarat: Estimated expenditure of Rs 71.10 crore for the renovation of historical buildings, Nyaya Mandir and Red Court.

Vadodara: Renovation of the historic buildings Nyay Mandir and Red Court of Vadodara city is being planned in three separate phases at a total cost of Rs. Rs 71.10 crore will be spent. It is noteworthy that a plan has been made to renovate the historical buildings Nyaya Mandir and Red Court in the city. Heritage consultant has also been appointed for this.

The initial estimate for the renovation of Nyaya Mandir is Rs 29.70 crore. The expenditure of Rs 19.80 crore in Phase-2 and Rs 22 crore in Phase-3, totaling Rs 71.10 crore, has been presented before the Standing Committee. It is noteworthy that the Red Court is planned to be used as a classic café and tourist center, in the premises of which there is a cafeteria, a studio for painting in the ground floor, a sculpture workshop, a space for the exhibition of paintings by famous artists. A museum to display pictures and historical memories is planned to be developed on the first floor.

The second floor will showcase the historical heritage of Vadodara and the eminent dignitaries who have adopted the city as their birthplace, including Raja Ravivar and Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jeevan Mahanubhava and many other dignitaries. And Samrid was an architect from Vadodara. About Rs 10 crore will be spent in this regard in the initial phase.
