Gurugram Police to deploy Blinkit ambulances near accident black spots

The Gurugram Traffic Police will deploy ambulances operated by Blinkit near identified accident black spots across the city to strengthen emergency response and improve road safety.
The decision was made during a review meeting on traffic management and road safety, chaired by Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Rajesh Mohan. The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioners of Police (Traffic) Satyapal Yadav (Headquarters/Highways), Jai Singh (West-I), and Sanjay (East), along with traffic inspectors and other personnel.
Elaborating on the initiative, Mohan said that the police, in collaboration with the quick-commerce platform Blinkit, will deploy ambulances near major accident-prone areas (black spots). The ambulances will help ensure accident victims receive immediate medical attention and are quickly transported to the nearest hospital during emergencies.
Traffic personnel have also been asked to install the Blinkit Ambulance app on their phones so they can request emergency medical assistance immediately if needed.
