Raipur. Harassing the wife of martyred Lieutenant Vinay Narwal is unfortunate and reprehensible. TS Singhdev wrote in X, The way Himanshi Narwal, wife of Naval officer Lieutenant Vinay Narwal, who was martyred in the Pahalgam terror attack, is being harassed is extremely unfortunate and reprehensible. Even in her moment of immense personal grief, the courage and clarity with which Himanshi Narwal ji appealed to the people not to spread hatred or violence towards any community is highly commendable. Her views reflect the fundamental values of our Constitution – unity, peace and humanity – for which our soldiers sacrifice their lives.
It is extremely shameful and unacceptable that now she is being targeted for her sensitivity and sensible words. Silencing such a courageous voice or making her a victim of online hatred is not only an insult to the sacrifice of her martyred husband, but also weakens the morality of our society.
I stand with Himanshi Narwal ji and appeal to all responsible citizens and concerned authorities to provide her full protection from any kind of threats or attempts to defame her. Let us honor the martyrdom of Lieutenant Vinay Narwal by imbibing his values.
