Haryana: Case registered against two people for gangraping a widow

Haryana: A widow from Delhi was allegedly gangraped by two men in Gurugram, whom she had befriended on Instagram. An FIR has been lodged at the Sector 29 police station and the case is under investigation. According to the complaint, the woman said she had befriended Gajendra and Vikas through Instagram around 25 days ago.

“During our conversations, both of them were polite and I started trusting them. After my husband died due to coronavirus, I started sharing my problems with them,” she said in her complaint. She alleged that the accused took advantage of her trust, called her to Gurugram and raped her. “Investigation is underway and the accused will be arrested soon,” a senior police officer said.
