Head constable had pressurized for money, line attached in suicide case

Gariaband. Gariaband SP has taken action in the case of police demanding one lakh rupees in the suicide note after the suicide of a young man accused of theft. Along with attaching the line to Head Constable Duleshwar Baghel posted at Fingeshwar police station, an investigation team has been formed under the leadership of ASP.

Let us tell you that Rajaram Nishad, a youth from Lafandikala, had committed suicide by hanging himself. In the suicide note found with him, he had accused the personnel of Fingeshwar police station of demanding Rs 1 lakh. The deceased’s brother alleged that Rajaram was called to the police station for questioning in a theft case and was beaten severely by the police.
