Heart patient did not get timely treatment, died in SIMS

Once the mismanagement of SIMS took the life of a middle aged man, even after he had a heart attack, he was not examined in the emergency. He was told that OPD is about to start, consult the doctor, he will treat you, but before that get an OPD slip.

Here the middle aged man, suffering from heart pain, had to roam around for an hour and a quarter and finally he died. While emergency and triage unit is being operated for serious patients in SIMS, where serious patients have to be treated, but in this case getting treatment is a far cry, he was kept roaming around in the name of getting a slip and finally he died, if the middle aged had got treatment on time, his life could have been saved. This case highlights the poor medical system of SIMS. The name of the deceased is being told to be 59 year old Shamsad Hussain, son of Mohammad Hussain, resident of Talapara.
